What is MG Rover Events?
MG Rover Events was formerly known as 120 Years of Rover – 100 Years of MG, and is an entity formed in 2024 with the aim of creating a space for the MG and Rover communities to come together and celebrate the anniversary of these two brands. After the success achieved during the anniversary year it was decided by the organising team to continue with this initiative, rebranding as MG Rover Events from 2025 onwards.
Do I need a Rover or MG branded car to take part in an MG Rover Events show?
We can’t deny that the focus of our shows is placed on these two marques, but we welcome examples of cars from other brands that have been associated with MG and Rover at certain historical periods. Examples of those are Austin, Morris, Triumph, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Daimler, Riley, Wolseley, Vanden Plas, Leyland and Alvis.
Is MG Rover Events a car club?
No, MG Rover Events is not a car club and does not intend to become one.
Do I need to be part of a car club to attend an MG Rover Events show?
No, our shows are open to all MG and Rover enthusiasts regardless of car club membership. However in specific cases we may offer certain perks to the members of our partner car clubs.
Are MG Rover events suitable for families?
Absolutely, our events are family-friendly and offer activities for attendees of all ages. We also welcome dogs to our events where allowed to do so by the venue (this will be detailed on the event pages).
Can I get a refund if I cannot attend an event?

How can I purchase tickets events?
Tickets can be purchased securely through our integrated TicketTailor platform on the event page. For some events we welcome pay-on-the-gate, although this is dependant on capacity (please see individual event pages for details).
Why do I need to pay to take part in a show run by MG Rover Events?
As much as we would love to make our events free for all, we do incur into expenses which demand funds in order to run our shows adequately. These include venue hiring fees, insurance policies, infrastructure and show logistics, taxes, accounting costs and merchandise fees. In our aim to be as inclusive as possible we try to keep ticket costs to a minimum so everyone can afford to attend our shows regardless of their economical position. All the work carried out by the individuals running MG Rover Events is, and always has been, entirely voluntary.
